高校招生“唯分數”:問題、根源與對策--[在線閱讀]

摘要
高考是一種高利害的選拔性考試,高考分數具有剛性、可比的獨特優點,能夠滿足社會公眾對高考形式公平的訴求。高校招生“唯分數”固守才學本位原則,能夠有效選拔人才和抵制人情關系的侵蝕,有利于促進社會流動、維護社會公平,但也存在加劇中學應試教育、學生負擔過重、難以考察德行、難以體現創新實踐能力、難以精準選拔人才等弊端,高校招生“唯分數”是“兩害相權取其輕”的公共選擇結果。高校招生“唯分數”是我國作為一個發展中國家舉辦大規模教育,在人情關系社會中兼顧高校招生形式公平與管理效率的階段性產物。高校招生“唯分數”問題可從分段推進高校招生使用綜合素質評價結果、深化促進全面發展的高考科目與內容改革、加大高校招生錄取機制改革等方面著手破解。

Scores-Only Enrollment in Universities: Problems, Causes and Countermeasures

Abstract:
College Entrance Examination in China is a high-stake selective examination. The scores are rigid and comparable, which satisfy the demand of the public for formal fairness. University "scores-only" enrollment is oriented towards talent and learning. The advantage is effective talent selection and resistance of corruption from back-door relationships. It is conducive to promoting social mobility and maintaining social fairness. However, it also has some disadvantages, such as aggravating exam-oriented education in middle schools, overburdening students, difficult to examine virtue, difficult to reflect innovation and practice ability, and difficult to select the right talents. It is the result of the public choice of "the lesser of two evils." The "scores-only" enrollment in universities is a phased product of holding large-scale education in a developing country like China, and taking into account the fairness of college enrollment forms and the efficiency of management in a society of human relations. The problem of "scores-only" enrollment can be solved from three aspects:promoting the use of comprehensive evaluation in small stages, deepening the reform of College Entrance Examination subjects and contents, and increasing the reform of university enrollment mechanism.
